School Field Trips

Terry Bison Ranch is here to provide an educational field trip of the ways of the west for preschools, daycares, elementary schools to online learning and even educational groups such as 4H groups.

Come learn the history of Terry Bison Ranch and learn about the national mammal enjoy the experience with a little part of history in how this ranch is still operating.

Tours include:

Horse Shoeing & Saddling Demonstration with one of our awesome wranglers!
Self guided tour to visit all the animals
Train Tour- Where students get up close to bison and the train ride is filled with educational facts and told about the history at Terry Bison Ranch.
A venue is provided for any type of weather to have lunch or snacks that your group or class can enjoy.
A small playground for our little cowboys and cowgirls
Terry Bison Ranch also sends small educational work books prior to the classes visit to the ranch. That will keep your students intrigued and brush up their knowledge on horses and bison!

We appreciate every school and their time management, Terry Bison Ranch will ensure after booking that the representative of that school gets all waivers sent in a timely manner, so all parents can sign and with the updated billing system, schools can pay invoice before arriving.

Prices:

$9.00 per child
Up to 5 Comped Chaperones
$18.50 per additional adult

•Teachers and chaperones must supervise children in all areas.
•No running on catwalk observation deck over the corral pens.
•No feeding animals. We want children to keep their fingers.
•There are bathrooms at the south end of the Trading Post gift shop.
•There are bathrooms down by the Wagon Wheel building across from the train.
•Children must stay seated on the train, until it comes to a complete stop.
•All hands and arms must stay inside the train.
•We will provide you with a building for you to eat your sack lunch, however if you would like to eat at the picnic tables scattered around the ranch, feel free.
•We have 1 playground for you to use on the south end of the Trading Post.
•We have 1 playground for the bigger kids just south of the campground, near the cabins.
•The narrated train tour lasts about 40-45 minutes. They will see: ostriches, bison, and other farm production animals.
•Terry Bison Ranch is no responsible for client not reading contract before signing.
